This social ministry position is a position which requires a strong concentration in case management.  The overall purpose of this position is to provide traditional Corps social services to all clients including food, shelter referral, clothing, and utility assistance.   The Family Service Worker will interview and evaluate clients determining various problems and needs.  They will also provide emergency assistance to alleviate the immediate basic need for issues such as food insecurity, disconnection of utility services, and emergency shelter referral. Reporting to the Corps Officers, the position gives hands-on oversight to and administration of the Northwest Corps Kids Summer Adventure Program. This is a 40 hour week position.
