Serving under the direction of the Lead Facilities Assistant, supporting the logistics & maintenance services of the East Cleveland Corps Community Center. The Facilities Aide will support and maintain the Mission of The Salvation Army and the Vision of the East Cleveland Corps, in accordance with all applicable internal & external policies and procedures.
Though not intended, this position may require additional work hours outside of regular schedule, if facility needs dictate.

The Facilities Aide operates in a community center setting and is regularly exposed to a variety of working conditions. The role involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and operating cleaning or maintenance equipment. Work is performed both indoors—in offices, classrooms, and common areas—and outdoors, including sidewalks, lawns, and parking lots. Exposure to seasonal weather during snow removal and other exterior tasks is expected. The environment is fast-paced and service-driven, requiring adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for the community.
