The Peer Specialist will provide direct peer support services to clients, contribute to team planning, and assist with outreach and transitional care efforts in community settings. Most importantly, the Peer Specialist will draw upon his or her own lived experience to help develop and maintain the program’s culture of respect and focus on the client’s potential for returning to independent living. The Peer Specialist must possess the ability to engage and affect change through a person-centered model. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, creativity and a collaborative spirit.

The Case Manager provides supportive and direct intensive case management services to the homeless families residing in the Shelter. The Case Manager assesses the client’s needs and jointly develops a collaborative plan that addresses those needs. The Case Manager prepares the client for self-sufficiency and independent living and supports their transition back into the community. The Case Manager engages all clients and conferences with them when issues of noncompliance are identified. The Case Manager organizes case conferences and ensures that their clients are actively involved in their discharge planning.

Shall provide supportive services to households experiencing homelessness in order to maximize housing stability and prevent returns to homelessness. Shall provide direct assistance in gaining access to services, coordination of care, oversight of the entire case, and linkage to appropriate services. The overall goal of the position is to help individuals and families quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing through a tailored package of assistance that may include the use of time-limited financial assistance and targeted supportive services.

The Group Leader II will serve in a support role to the Corps Officers, under the direct supervision of the Program Directors. They will be intimately and integrally involved in the daily operations of the School-Age Child Care program and the carrying out of its mission.
The Group Leader II may have oversight responsibility for a designated group of children and/or a specialized activity, as assigned by the Program Directors. They may also be responsible to exercise a measure leadership over other employees assigned to them.

The Content Specialist is a key member of the GAINS program team, responsible for the development, oversight, and management of high-quality program content in the Required Content Areas.
