SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Participate in training and provide case management for 14-20 families as assigned in order to reduce risks for the families and prevent foster care placements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position operates in and out of a professional office environment. This role routinely requires driving outside of the office in all weather conditions, stair climbing and maneuvering in and out of various buildings, homes and facilities that may not meet ADA requirements. In the office setting there is routine use of standard office equipment to include computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Individual must be willing to work additional hours as required. Position has both internal contacts within the organization and external contacts within the community, which require considerable tact, courtesy, and diplomacy. The utmost of integrity is required to safeguard confidential proprietary information of the organization.

Minimum education of
-Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or certificate.
Required experience
- Four years of related experience (E.g. Social Worker, Case Worker, Program Manager, Coordinator)
SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical Master’s Degree is preferred. Will also consider candidates nearing completion of one of these degree programs. · Licensure is preferred. · Must have access to own vehicle and valid license that meets The Salvation Army Insurance Requirements.
