It involves an active collaboration between Philadelphia Police Department and social service providers to assist individuals in having basic needs met and achieving their goals. The PAD Manager will supervise the PAD prostitution program ensuring program goals are being met. They will supervise PAD Victim Advocates and Community Engagement Specialist. In addition, the manager will provide trauma informed clinical supervision for case management to all clients and will work with the area service provider partners to ensure follow up and coordination of all immediate aftercare services.

The VA will be responsible to participate in awareness and training events when applicable as well as develop rapport with local law enforcement and DHS partners.

Responsible for coordination and implementation of in-house programming, including assessments, goal planning, evaluation of daily progress, monthly resident reviews, monitoring recreational programs, seeking community resources, maintaining trip log for van use. They will ensure that all services are being followed as written in the individual’s plans. Assistant Program Manager must be able to travel, have good writing skills, articulate and be an aggressive advocate. Is able to function at a full capacity within the duties outlined in the job description and requirement. The agency has embraced the concept of a fully integrated system of care for all individuals of service. This requires that all staff assesses the individual's needs holistically and see it as their responsibility to connect the individuals with services needed-internal or external to the agency, regardless of which of the individuals enters the system. Assess the needs of the whole individuals/family including their basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the individual's families' needs. Follow-up on referrals you make on behalf of an individual’s family and respond to all referrals made to you/your program. Participate in cross-program service reviews that support the planning and coordination of service delivery and service closure and Other Duties as assigned.

Program:      Education Reports to:    Education programing Specialist Supervises:    N/A Status:       Non-Exempt Schedule:     Part Time – Seasonal (15 weeks)             Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 6:00pm (20 hours per week)             Start day: September 7, 2022 End date: May 4, 2023   Our Strong Kids, Healthy Kids (SK2) after school program uses After School Classroom Leaders to run a classroom of 8 to 10 children from grades Kindergarten to 8th Grade. SK2 is a free program for our community. We have 80 students in this program that are from various cultural and social economic backgrounds. The Classroom Leader will implement the program and schedule that the Education Programing Specialist has created for the semester for their classroom. The nature of the tasks and responsibilities will change to some degree based upon the program they are assisting in; but their character and attitude must always promote the Christian faith and be in keeping with the mission of The Salvation Army.
