The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion is responsible for placement and supervision of interns throughout the Greater New York Division, management of Territorial Headquarters (THQ) grants, White House correspondence, as well as other tasks related to expansion of services within the community we serve. The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion is responsible for setting and maintaining a high level of professional services. The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion serves as a liaison between local colleges and universities (coordinators and students), THQ, White House, Corps Community Centers’ Corps Officers and staff, Social Services Administration, and program sites, as well as the public. The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion will create a supportive, high-quality practice through procedure development/monitoring and support of these departments and programs. Must use discretion and independent judgment in exercising duties.

SCHEDULE: On-Call: Alternate Weeks (See On-Call Schedule) 4:00pm to 8:30am and Holidays.
FUNCTION: The primary responsibility of the CARETAKER is to be available for on-site emergency maintenance. Must respond to all alarms on alternate weeknights, alternate weekends, and on-call Holidays. Other tasks include maintaining the trash compactor during on-call times, communicating with the monitoring company and other security tasks as assigned. must respond to emergency maintenance requests and repair minor jobs. Position includes coverage of Booth and Catherine Booth Residences while on-call during weeknights, alternate weekends, and Holidays. Scheduled time away from property must coincide with the on-call schedule.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Youth Ministries Coordinator will serve in a critical support role to the Corps Officer and in a leadership role. They will be intimately and integrally involved in the full ministry of the Corps Officers, including teaching, leading and preaching the Gospel message; outreach; organization; providing Spiritual direction and care of congregation members and visitors.
