- A bachelor’s degree in social work, related field, or equivalent social service work experience is required. Master's degree in social work preferred.
- A minimum of three years of employee supervision is required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Previous experience serving the homeless population is required.
- Contract and program fiscal management experience required.
- Grant writing, monitoring, and reporting experience required.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and preserve a positive demeanor.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with community relationships in the federal, state, local, and non-profit arenas preferred.
- Must speak comfortably in public and maintain a professional appearance.
- Must complete KeepSAfe and other required training upon hire.
- Prior case management, program management, contract compliance, and administrative experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Respect for all humankind and commitment to meet needs without discrimination.
- Skill in managing multiple projects, setting and meeting deadlines, and effectively addressing and resolving crises to achieve positive results.
- Willingness to lead employees with sleeves rolled up and a positive can-do attitude.
- Willingness to travel within the Division (CT and RI).
