Overview: This is a unique opportunity. The EHS Center Support is a fast pace, fast moving and ever changing on a daily basis role. Center Support assists in our Childcare Center at The Salvation Army on multiple levels. Program Manager should have a comprehensive knowledge of community resources, OPWDD regulations, and related fiscal issues, have a thorough knowledge of the individual’s personal goals, preferences, and needs. Program Manager will assist the Assistant Director and Director of Developmental Disabilities Services of The Salvation Army Greater New York Division in the overall administration of the program. The Program Manager will ensure the individuals receive the highest standard of services required. They will ensure that all services are coordinated and implemented as needed through the individual’s plans. Program Manager must be able to travel, have good writing skills, articulate and be an aggressive advocate. Position Overview: To assist the Area Coordinator in achieving the goals and purposes of The Salvation Army’s programs and service by providing administrative support in the daily operations of The Salvation Army in York. This includes facilities management, human resource management and business management.
Camp CONNRI is situated on 272 acres of rolling hills, overlooking a pristine 50-acre lake in Ashford, Connecticut. Campers enjoy a wide variety of activities including: swimming, hiking, fishing, kayaking, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, nature studies, arts and crafts, low ropes, geocaching, and much more. The camp offers a safe, Christian environment that nourishes the physical growth, mental maturity, and spiritual enthusiasm of youth. Activities are under the supervision of certified, experienced personnel, where the safety and welfare of all campers is a primary concern of every staff member. The Camp is proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association, the State of Connecticut, and The Salvation Army. The 2023 camping season runs from June 12 through August 6, 2023.
