SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To assist in the development and direction of a program of activities for the participants of the Recovery Center. The assistant will work directly with the participants in the Drop in Recovery Center that promotes socialization, education, and wellness with the overall goal of preventing homelessness.

FUNCTION: This position is responsible for providing rotating 24 hour emergency response, crisis intervention, long-term comprehensive case management.
The Youth Ministries Coordinator will build relationships with the children and young adults in Corps programs and the community. Further, they will invest in the personal lives of the youth, helping them to grow and mature in the walk of holiness.

The kitchen supervisor is a vital part of the social service ministry of the Salvation Army. They will help ensure that meals served in the soup kitchen are prepared and served with excellence.

FUNCTION: Responsible for coordinating youth ministries. The Youth Coordinator will plan, organize, and facilitate quality youth programs by providing ministry support, oversight to all after school programs and oversight to any summer enrichment program at The Salvation Army
Under the guidance of the Director of Property Services (January – October), provide a range of administrative support services to the staff of the Property Services Department, perform the closing of completed property budgets and the associated capitalizations and perform annual inspections of Salvation Army facilities and coordinate needed repairs. Under the guidance of the General Secretary (November – December), coordinate the kettle effort in Manhattan ensuring maximum coverage of kettle stands by effectively communicating with Corps Officers and providing them with best practice training.

FUNCTION: The AA to the Divisional Youth and Candidate's Secretary processes divisional loans, scholarships, youth activities, and registrations, candidate files and troop information. Employee communicates to Corps Officers, candidates, the Territorial Youth Department and Candidates Department. Employee is responsible for all paperwork for campers and staff at Camp SWONEKY. Employee assists in the USDA Summer food program and provides necessary documentation for financial reports. Employee is a vital member of the Youth Department team.

To provide needed supervision and monitoring of warming center guests and program. The center will operate during cold winter months 7 days per week. Responsible for the general management of the program. Warming Center assistants insures a safe, secure, comfortable, and supportive environment in a manner consistent with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of a low barrier approach to care for homeless individuals. SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Evangeline Booth Miracle Home is an 18-bed shelter that provides emergency housing to homeless women and families of women and children. The Resident Aide position assures a quality service to everyone who comes into the program. This position provides emotional support, information and referral to community services, and creates a warm and safe environment for the residents. The Resident Aide ensures that the residents’ basic needs are met, and that the daily operations of the program are instituted in a manner consistent with the philosophy and policies/procedures of the program and agency. The position provides awake staff coverage for all shifts of the residential program, monitoring residents and assisting in clerical/data and billing reporting responsibilities, household management tasks including facility cleaning, laundry and other duties as needed.
