SEEKING: Dedicated individuals looking to begin or expand their clinical experience working with family systems and gain experience practicing an evidence-based model in a supportive work environment. As an FFT-CW (Functional Family Therapy-Child Welfare) Case Planner II you will receive evidence-based training from FFTLLC consultants as well as ongoing consultation regarding working with at risk families and youth through the FFT-CW lens and utilizing the interventions of this model. You will be taught how to motivate families for change, assess family patterns, implement specific and individualized behavior change plans to address referral problems and relevant risk factors, and generalize changes in multiple systems. Working with a caseload of 10-12 families, the goal is to increase protective factors, while also reducing the risks associated with family safety, and prevent the need for out of home placement of children.

The Evangeline Booth Miracle Home is an 18-bed shelter that provides emergency housing to homeless women and families of women and children. The Resident Aide position assures a quality service to everyone who comes into the program. This position provides emotional support, information and referral to community services, and creates a warm and safe environment for the residents. The Resident Aide ensures that the residents’ basic needs are met, and that the daily operations of the program are instituted in a manner consistent with the philosophy and policies/procedures of the program and agency. The position provides awake staff coverage for all shifts of the residential program, monitoring residents and assisting in clerical/data and billing reporting responsibilities, household management tasks including facility cleaning, laundry and other duties as needed.

Senior Accountant-Accounts Payable:
The Salvation Army, Syracuse Area Services is presently conducting a search for a Senior Accountant that will assist the Director of Finance with the administration and management of revenue items, accounts payables, and grants.
The role of a Senior Accountant is to work with their assigned internal customers. SA's are assigned to specific Departments/Programs where they are responsible for managing the contracts awarded to specific programs. Review of newly awarded contracts, create and monitoring of budgets, billing and will work with Department Heads on the understanding and spend of each contract awarded to their Programs.
