work in a home-like setting called The Comfort Cottage which promotes a safe and nurturing environment between the children and their families.
The position involves transporting children and families for visits to the Comfort Cottage and provide visit supervision as needed.
The Case Aide will have the opportunity to participate in professional development and learn the Visit Coaching model as well as Trust Based Relational Invention so to engage with families using the innovative and evidenced based practice of TBRI®.
The Health and Wellness Specialist will work with the Health and Wellness Director to provide effective health and wellness programming to cadets at The Salvation Army College for Officer Training. Health programming will consist of education, organizing sport/fitness and recreation opportunities, and health coaching in the areas of nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle habits. The Health and Wellness Specialist will also assist with the implementation of the Health and Wellness program by providing small group personal training, coordinating family-oriented recreation, and group health and wellness instruction.
Status: Part-time
Hours Per Week: 14 (hours will be increased during November and December each year)
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Scope & Purpose of Position: Provide material assistance to individuals in need, including food, personal hygiene items, and Christmas toys. Other material assistance may include clothing and furniture vouchers and rent and utility assistance if funding is available. Register children for the Salvation Army’s Youth Camp program, Camp CONNRI. Assist with recruiting volunteers and promoting the iconic Red Kettle Campaign.

The Eastern Territorial Headquarters in West Nyack, NY has a temporary full-time position for a Music Assistant from mid-May through mid-August, 2024.
The Music Assistant would be a key component of the Territorial Music Department during the summer months. Job Focus: This position is responsible to provide direct assistance with the day-to-day Area Services property department operation by performing building and equipment maintenance, grounds keeping, snow removal, minor renovations, sanitation and cleaning, event set-up and clean up, organization of supply areas, and transporting of donations. The Area Services office is located at 966 E. Main Street, Columbus, serves as the home base for this position.

Job Focus: This position will provide emergency response services and case management to victims of human trafficking, including conducting intake, developing a safety plan, addressing basic needs, linking to medical care and counseling and, developing and implementing a service plan. Additionally, this position will assist in the development of group therapy programming in local county jails and provide staff support for 24-hour emergency hotline.

FUNCTION: The Grant Writer writes appeals for grants and foundation funds to the Cincinnati region and provides support to grant seeking entities in the Southwest Ohio Northeast Kentucky Division. Keeps a record of grant activity, timelines and deadlines and works with other staff and departments as needed to complete grant applications and follows Salvation Army procedures in doing so. May be asked to aid other Corps as it relates to Grant and Foundation opportunities. This position is primarily responsible for writing grants needed for Greater Cincinnati Operations and an annual fundraising goal is assigned to this position.
