Under the direction of Corps Officers, the security and maintenance personnel help to ensure the building properly cleaned and sanitary for staff and visitors into the building. Maintain the Chapel clean and in order.
Under the supervision of the group teacher, the teacher-aide shall be responsible for:
WORKING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SALVATION ARMY of the day care center and carrying out its functions, policies and procedures. WORKING WITH A GIVEN GROUP OF CHILDREN
To assist in the planning and execution of a program to provide day care for children which takes into Account the educational, social, developmental and health needs of the group, as well as the individuals Child.
To share responsibility for keeping equipment and material accessible and in good condition in order to encourage maximum constructive use by the children.
To share responsibility for removing or reporting any damaged or hazardous equipment to the director or other designated person so that necessary action may be take
To participate in planning and supervising an appropriate arrangement of classroom equipment and furniture designed to promote optimal program functioning.
To participate in the overall planning for the best use of shared space in relation to the total center
program. To assist in planning the use of community resources to enrich the educational content of the children’s program.
To participate in discussions aimed at developing a program of sound educational goals appropriate to the age and developmental level of children which will enable them to make the most of future educational opportunities.
Under the supervision of the educational director of the center, the group teacher shall be Responsible for: WORKING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SPONSORING AGENCY of the day care center and carrying out its functions, policies and procedures; observing the schedules in the center and adhering to its established personnel policies and practices.

The Development Specialist will join a robust fundraising and marketing department as the assistant to the Divisional Director of Philanthropy, providing light administrative support and a strong emphasis on managing a variety of special projects in collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy as they arise. The Development Specialist will support the Director of Philanthropy in managing high-level donors and the Advisory Board, with the potential to develop a small donor portfolio of their own. The Specialist will liaise with pastors and staff at the 38 Community Centers within the Greater New York region as the point-person for the department.

Status: Exempt, Full-time
Hours Per Week: 40 minimally (must be available for on-call emergency response)
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (The schedule may vary depending on the need and street outreach.)
Scope & Purpose of Position: Provide oversight of the Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) Program (The Bloom Initiative) and supervision of program employees. Provide direct services and case management to human trafficking survivors. Assist with the preparation of the program budget and ensure budget compliance. Assist with grant applications, funding requests, reports, donor proposals, program data collection, finance invoicing, and ensure program and contract compliance. Work collaboratively with the grant writers, Divisional Director of Social Ministries, and Territorial Anti-Human Trafficking Director. This position will be home-based in the Hartford, CT office, and must stand ready to provide services in the Willimantic and New London area.
The Development Associate is responsible for assisting all donor relations activities and providing support for key fundraising efforts and donor community building. This position works closely with the Community Relations and Development Department and Kroc Center leadership to achieve major giving goals and stewardship of donors. The Development Associate works collaboratively with the overall CRD department.
