Position Overview:
The Bilingual Leadership Development Associate and Translation Coordinator (BDATC) provides leadership and direction to the recruiting, training, and encouragement of local officers and other lay leaders of Spanish-speaking Corps throughout the Pendel Division. The BDATC will be expected to spend time in the field on Sundays, as well as during the week. They will need to become intimately aware of every Spanish-speaking corps in the Pendel Division with respect to both current and potential lay leadership. As the Translator for the Program Section, this person must be able to translate all communication, both written and verbal, to and from the Program Department to the Spanish-speaking Corps of the Command. This would include, but not be limited to, official correspondence, event content translation, publicity, and translation at events.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Evangeline Booth Miracle Home is an 18 bed shelter that provides emergency housing to homeless women and families of women and children. The Resident Aide provides emotional support, information and referral to community services, and creates a warm and safe environment for the residents. The Resident Aide ensures that the residents’ basic needs are met, and that the daily operations of the program are instituted in a manner consistent with the philosophy and policies/procedures of the program and agency. Provide awake staff coverage of residential program, monitoring residents and assisting in clerical work, household management tasks and other duties as needed.

The Donor Relations Director (DRD) is responsible for building a caseload of major gift donors and providing ongoing and proactive relationship management, strategic communications plans, gifts cultivation, and solicitation activity for this group of donors. The DRD will identify, qualify, be assigned, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects acting as the primary contact between the Army and the assigned caseload, emphasizing securing gifts of $10,000 and higher, building toward a portfolio worth $1 million. The Shift Supervisor manages the flow of people in and out of the facility and ensures for the safety of all clients and staff as well as compliance with all facility rules and regulations. A Shift Supervisor assumes the operational management of the facility in the absence of another manager on site and responds to all emergencies.
In furtherance of the mission of the College for Officer Training, the library team supports Salvationist scholarship and the development of men and women for Salvation Army ministry through the provision of excellence in library services. Description of Position:
The Major Gift Inter interacts with a vibrant Community Relations and Development team who is responsible for direct marketing, major gifts, foundation relations, gift planning, and marketing/communications. The Intern will work directly with the Director of Major Gifts.
