Reporting to the Commanding Officers, the Office Manager/ Social Ministries Coordinator will serve in an vital community ministry role for this corps service area. She/ He will be integrally involved in the ministry of the corps and in the promotion of the Mission of The Salvation Army. The Office Manager/ Social Ministry Coordinator should remain teachable and possess a passion to further the cause of The Salvation Army.
The role will oversee all aspects of the food pantry program including but not limited to ordering, stocking shelves, preparing bags and scheduling of client appointments, under the direction of the Corps Officers. This role will manage the soup kitchen program including but not limited to ordering, stocking, equipping the program with food supplies and resources which also includes scheduling and training volunteers. This role includes managing volunteer opportunities for community stakeholders at The Salvation Army Riverhead Corps. She/ he will assist in growing social ministries program here at The Salvation Army Corps as indicated below in general/ specific responsibilities.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist each participant with their routine daily care and program services in accordance with the participants' assessment and care plan. This position also assists the in planning and leading group and individual activities, with the goal of promoting participant involvement in pursuits suitable to their interests and abilities.

Within policy guidelines established by the Board of Directors, the terms of the Purchase of Service Agreement, and licensing requirements, the Director is responsible for overall administration and supervision of the total program of day care services to families and children. These responsibilities shall include coordination and supervision of all program components, such as intellectual growth of young children, preventative health and social services, nutrition, staff development, community outreach, parent involvement in program operation, fiscal management and accountability, office and facilities management. So as to effectively carry out these overall responsibilities, the Director shall consider, confer and consult with other supervisory staff members of the center in arriving at decisions affecting areas in which these persons may be specialists.
This position is Facilities Kitchen Manager and will be directly responsible to the Corps Commanding Officers. The responsibilities include to prepare, serve, and clean up for daily Soup Kitchen meals, keep food and kitchen supplies inventories, order food and supplies. Coordinate and do food pickups. This is a full-time non-exempt employee position with a basic work schedule from 7:00 A.M. until 3:30 PM.
Under the direction of the Corps Officer the English teacher, will assume a variety of responsibilities geared towards providing relevant and meaningful English programs and activities for seniors in the community center for the upcoming year.

The Resident Advisor plays a critical role in:
1. Ensuring good order of the residents and safety
2. Maintaining a clean and sober environment
3. Recording and reporting information to Case Managers and Property Manager

The Salvation Army in Southwest Ohio is seeking candidates for a full time, 40 hour per week Anti-Human Trafficking Case Manager position. This position will provide outreach, emergency response and comprehensive community based case management for survivors of human trafficking and/or commercial sexual exploitation. Responsibilities include working with survivors of human trafficking to foster safety and empowerment, assess needs and develop a service plan. Additionally, this position will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and evaluating interventions designed to assist survivors in restoring their lives in case management, outreach, and The Well, drop-in program.
REPORTS TO: Anti-Human Trafficking Manager
SUPERVISES: Coalition Interns and Fellows. Street Outreach and Well volunteers.
SCHEDULE: Full-time. Must be available evening and weekend hours for training and outreach efforts.
This position will provide leadership and support to The Salvation Army Core Regional Coalition Partner fulfilling all duties outlined in the grant agreement, including those listed below. This position is also responsible for conducting direct outreach to victims of human trafficking, outreach and prevention education to youth and training for professional and community audiences.
The Educational Director will serve in a critical support role to the Corps Commanding Officers and a major leadership role within the Brownsville Corps Complex. The Educational Director will oversee all aspects of the Brownsville Corps Child Care Center including but not limited to Business Administration, Personnel Management, Program Development and Community Relations.

The primary function of the Pathway of Hope case manager is to assign, monitor and organize cases for social work. The case manager must be highly organized, empathetic, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and eager to help adults, children and vulnerable adults. The case manager will be involved in all aspects of social services and be willing to work in a team atmosphere.
The Evangeline Booth Miracle Home is an 18 bed shelter that provides emergency housing to homeless women and families of women and children. The Resident Aide provides emotional support, information and referral to community services, and creates a warm and safe environment for the residents. The Resident Aide ensures that the residents’ basic needs are met, and that the daily operations of the program are instituted in a manner consistent with the philosophy and policies/procedures of the program and agency. Provide awake staff coverage of residential program, monitoring residents and assisting in clerical work, household management tasks and other duties as needed.
To provide assistance to the homeless population in a residential facility which serves single women, women with children, couples and custodial male parents with children. Must be readily available and flexible to cover a variety of shifts, weekends and holidays.
Under the supervision of the educational director of the center, the group teacher shall be Responsible for: WORKING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SPONSORING AGENCY of the day care center and carrying out its functions, policies and procedures; observing the schedules in the center and adhering to its established personnel policies and practices.
