The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion is responsible for placement and supervision of interns throughout the Greater New York Division, management of Territorial Headquarters (THQ) grants, White House correspondence, as well as other tasks related to expansion of services within the community we serve. The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion is responsible for setting and maintaining a high level of professional services. The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion serves as a liaison between local colleges and universities (coordinators and students), THQ, White House, Corps Community Centers’ Corps Officers and staff, Social Services Administration, and program sites, as well as the public. The Coordinator of Community Engagement and Expansion will create a supportive, high-quality practice through procedure development/monitoring and support of these departments and programs. - Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have six months of experience working with school age children including three months of supervised experience at a school age child care program, or
- Have nine (9) months experience with school age children including three months supervised experience at a school age childcare program.
- Must be able to plan, prepare, and implement the day-to-day activities
- Responsible for assuring a high level and enthusiasm when working with the children
- Responsible for working with the Site Coordinator and other staff to assure the safety of the children enrolled in the program
- Ability to communicate any and all problems or concerns to the Site Coordinator, who will inform the Administrator

FUNCTION: The primary responsibility of the Office Aide/Receptionist is to answer all telephone calls, greet tenants and visitors at the front desk, record, and post work orders, receive rents. Other duties include but are not limited to assessing tenant concerns, scheduling recertification appointments, scheduling with Assistant Administrator and other clerical duties as assigned. The Office Adie/Receptionist will also assist the Certified Occupancy Specialist in the collection of 3rd party verifications in preparation for the initial certification and recertification process and place in corresponding files.
The Lowell Corps is hiring an on-call Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) Responder. The pay rate is $20 per hour. The EDS responder would report to local disaster events (fires, floods, etc) and would also need to be available for EDS trainings, restocking, and volunteer recruitment during non-response times.
