The Sanitation & Hospitality Assistant plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming corps building that is consistently up to standard with local health department inspection codes. The individual will be responsible for routine cleaning of common areas (including restrooms, kitchen, and offices), restocking hospitality stations, supporting basic kitchen prep for feeding programs, and assisting with seasonal and event-based support.
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of our building. This position focuses on performing light repairs and routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, replacing knobs, and handling basic handyman duties. The Maintenance Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring that both the interior and exterior of the facility remain in good condition and in compliance with local Health Department codes and safety regulations. This includes seasonal tasks such as snow removal, sidewalk clearing, and occasional support with donation pickups.
The Dance Instructor will teach participants various dance techniques and forms, incorporating style,
performance, and choreography elements in their educational approach. The Dance Instructor will build a
curriculum and tailor lesson plans according to student strengths and weaknesses to maximize growth.
Manage the nursing care of individuals, including determining the need for immediate physician attention, the execution of medical orders of the physician or dentist and the coordination of the individuals nursing care in relation to routine facility activities and the individuals’ comprehensive treatment plans. Responsible for overall medical, dental, and nutritional care of all OPWDD individuals residing in the facility. Adherence to applicable regulations and review of resident progress as appropriate.
