Visitation Coach:

The Donor Relations Director (DRD) is responsible for building a caseload of major gift donors and providing ongoing and proactive relationship management, strategic communications plans, gifts cultivation, and solicitation activity for this group of donors. The DRD will identify, qualify, be assigned, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects acting as the primary contact between the Army and the assigned caseload, emphasizing securing gifts of $10,000 and higher, building toward a portfolio worth $1 million. Position Details: As the Shelter Case Manager for our Women's Shelter you will have a career opportunity where you will be able to assist our clients who are homeless/in crisis by using short-term case management, support counseling, advocacy and by referring to community resources. Our Case Manager's provide individual and family case management to our clients. They assist cleints with life skills education, and mainstream resources to aid in securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing along with a stable living situation.

Who we are: The Salvation Army’s Women’s Shelter provides temporary emergency housing for adult women without children, who have serious mental health problems and psychiatric disabilities. Crisis counseling, comprehensive social work support services, mental health services and linkages to community resources are provided to help the women obtain housing stability, income supports, mental health treatment and supportive services. The Women's Shelter has 15 beds and 16 subsidized one bedroom apartments.
The Shift Supervisor manages the flow of people in and out of the facility and ensures for the safety of all clients and staff as well as compliance with all facility rules and regulations. A Shift Supervisor assumes the operational management of the facility in the absence of another manager on site and responds to all emergencies.

The Social Ministries Manager is responsible for the development and administration of all social ministries programs, which provide a continuum of care for adults, children and families within the community. Will oversee and direct social service programs/ministries, including but not limited to: new program development, case management, staff/volunteer and program supervision, collaboration with other community social service providers, and the monitoring of program outcomes, procedures and budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work required
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW), preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in social work or the social services field
- Direct Care in a Human Service setting as well as supervisory/management experience
- Knowledge of Social Service field/Community Resources
- Ability to develop budgets, reports, and to maintain and monitor statistical data and fiscal records related to social services.
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability related to the principles and delivery of strengths-based case management.
- Results-oriented, with demonstrated ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization. Proven expertise in building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and data management systems.
- Valid driver’s license and use of official vehicle may be required. Ability to travel as needed
- Able to work extended hours if needed and during the Holiday season or times of disaster.
