Position Overview:
The Youth Department Office Manager (YDOM) will oversee divisional youth correspondence as well as the record keeping of divisional youth programs and candidate paperwork. The YDOM will be responsible for the oversight the processing of any financial paperwork and receipts. The Office Manager will also manage the Camp Ladore office when it’s in session. - Responsible for distribution and care of all kettle equipment and supplies.

- Responsible for depositing of kettle income on the next business day.
- Assist with all clean up and finalization of the Christmas effort.

Position Overview:
Are you ready to roll-up your sleeves and help families in our community with specialized case management? They need our help and we need you! This is a fantastic level 1 career opportunity for anyone looking to enter this field. The Case Planner, level 1 will participate in training for and provide specialized case management using the family systems based FFT-CW model for a case load of 10-12 families. The goal of a Case Planner is to reduce risk while increasing protective factors for the families in order to prevent the out of home placement of children.
Completes intakes, assists with discharges, completes paperwork as needed. Works closely with adult residents. Provides orientation to the program. Reviews program rules, policies and procedures with clients. Reports rule violations, injuries, and incidents to assigned worker and management – both verbally and in writing via the special report (must be completed by the end of their scheduled shift).

The Resident Assistant provides support to Booth Haven residents and creates a hospitable and safe environment in the shelter. The hours for this position are 16 hours per week - Friday & Saturday - C Shift (10:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.)
The Housing Specialist assists homeless families in their pursuit of permanent housing. The Housing Specialist manages relationships with brokers, landlords, NYC housing, supportive housing, and any and all other housing options so that a steady stream of housing referrals can be accessed and provided to the families residing within the shelter. The Housing Specialist coordinates trips into the community to view available apartments, accompanies clients for intakes into different housing, and/or provides the clients with the means for viewing all housing options. The Housing Specialist conducts housing workshops in the program on the areas of program education, interviewing with a landlord, paying your bills, and any other topics deemed necessary to support movement and long-term placement into the community. The Housing Specialist works together with the case management team to ensure all clients are actively engaged in their own exit strategy and discharge plan or is referring the client for next step or involuntary transfer.
The Peer Specialist will provide direct peer support services to clients, contribute to team planning, and assist with outreach and transitional care efforts in community settings. Most importantly, the Peer Specialist will draw upon his or her own lived experience to help develop and maintain the program’s culture of respect and focus on the client’s potential for returning to independent living. The Peer Specialist must possess the ability to engage and affect change through a person-centered model. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, creativity and a collaborative spirit.
Under the direction of the Facility Manager, the Porter helps to ensure the facility is properly cleaned, safe and sanitary for all residents, staff and visitors into the building. The Porter helps to complete work orders, minor building repairs and completes the cleaning of all vacant units within the regulatory time frame of four hours.
The Education Coordinator is responsible for developing services for the children residing in the shelter that are supportive, nurturing, and age appropriate. The Education Coordinator is the Child Care Liaison between the shelter and DHS. He/She oversees the childcare and recreation programs and provides support and assistance to the parents of all infant and school age children.
