Conduct Interviews (with CO’s) and recommend for hire all day care staff positions; provide orientation, training, Keep Safe training, supervision and evaluation of SmART Center program personnel. - Design program. Philosophy, development of policies, procedures, and evaluation of SmART Center program. - Delegate responsibilities to staff as needed. - Write and submit grants that would benefit the Salvation Army Kids’ Club Programs - Monitor the SmART Center budget and assist in the yearly revision. - Develop the funds necessary to operate the SmART Center program. - Handle all disciplinary action in a direct manner.  Fill out all necessary forms, speak to parents, consult and inform C.O. of action taken. - Maintain parental communication and relations including outreach and enrollment. - Review and discuss discipline of staff with CO prior to meeting with staff member - Drive vehicles, as needed for trips, daily pick-ups, etc. - Conduct weekly staff meetings to review plans, guidelines, and any challenged faced. - Maintain attendance records, medical release forms and other paperwork for statistical and official purposes. - Conduct parental and child interviews.  Enroll children and maintain current and accurate files on each child. - Develop a community outreach link; to promote the program and fill open slots. - Complete and submit on a timely basis, all state local and Salvation Army reports. - Develop volunteer programs, following Keep Safe guidelines. - Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing regulations. - Participate in First Aid, CPR and other required OCCS training.
