Core responsibilities will be concentrated in these areas: securing major grants, strategist for program planning teams, (developing program templates), grant feasibility consultation, including operations funding analysis, POH expansion, work force training initiatives and capital development strategy for homeless and housing initiatives. He/she will be responsible to optimize The Salvation Army’s effectiveness in each community through effective program development, engagement of community leaders and development of collaborative partnerships in area of employment training, supportive services and Pathway of Hope. The Director will support division-wide grants management, primarily focusing on large public funding opportunities that include sustainability strategies.
