The Development Specialist will join a robust fundraising and marketing department as the assistant to the Divisional Director of Philanthropy, providing light administrative support and a strong emphasis on managing a variety of special projects in collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy as they arise. The Development Specialist will support the Director of Philanthropy in managing high-level donors and the Advisory Board, with the potential to develop a small donor portfolio of their own. The Specialist will liaise with pastors and staff at the 38 Community Centers within the Greater New York region as the point-person for the department.

Scope & Purpose of Position: Provide oversight of the Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) Program (The Bloom Initiative) and supervision of program employees. Provide direct services and case management to human trafficking survivors. Assist with the preparation of the program budget and ensure budget compliance. Assist with grant applications, funding requests, reports, donor proposals, program data collection, finance invoicing, and ensure program and contract compliance. Work collaboratively with the grant writers, Divisional Director of Social Ministries, and Territorial Anti-Human Trafficking Director. This position will be home-based in the Hartford, CT office, and must stand ready to provide services in the Willimantic and New London area.

Scope & Purpose of Position: A results-oriented professional who builds solid relationships and increases major donor giving through personal cultivation, communication, and donor solicitation. Will strategize and prospect for new donors in cooperation with Donor Relation Specialists and the Director of Advancement to build a portfolio and will set and track specific income and contact goals. Will bear responsibility for managing their major donor portfolio of high-end donors and pipeline donors throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island. Will endeavor to maintain the portfolio’s annual fund giving while cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and upgrading pipeline and portfolio donors to major and special giving levels. Will work with program and command staff to serve the Division’s needs and local fundraising priorities.

Position Overview: The New Home Resident Advisor (RA) is to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for the New Home residents through
the implementation and monitoring of hours rules pertaining to resident conduct, fire safety, room conditions, conflict resolution, and curfew
restrictions. The RA conducts house and room checks, answers the telephone, greets visitors, accommodates new residents as they transition into
the space, prepares a home report at the end of each shift, manages sign-in logs, responds to emergencies to ensure, that if necessary, residents are
evacuated safely and efficiently and responds to residents needs and requests. The RA is to communicate and support all residents in a trauma
informed manner. The RA is to effectively communicate with the house manager, other resident advisors, and perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview: : The Catering Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the Catering Department and will oversee and perform all food service functions including concessions, catering, and special event planning and execution. Specific duties will include menu planning, pricing, purchasing, inventory control, and event planning. Under the direction of the Aquatics Manager, the Assistant Aquatics Manager (AAM) will assist with all day-to-day operations of the aquatics center and the administration of programs. The AAM will also assist with the effective supervision, training, and development of the aquatics staff & associated work schedules. The AAM will coordinate the pool use schedule of various programs (ex. private swim lessons) and activities, and complete various routine clerical and administrative tasks, all while ensuring timely and effective communication concerning aquatics center activities and programs.
