Position Overview:
The purpose of this position (as detailed below) is to oversee Pottstown Works operation, staff, program members, volunteers, business, and community partner relationships at the Pottstown Corps, using the mission and vision of The Salvation Army, as well as trauma informed guiding principles in program operation, staff management, and community relations.

These areas include dance, music, creative writing, theater, arts & crafts, fashion, singing, graphic design, digital media, and other art programs. This position also involves oversight of key personnel and departmental finances.

About Us: The Salvation Army Eliza Shirley House provides long term case managed emergency housing services for homeless families. During their stay at the Eliza Shirley House, our goal is to help stabilize residents as many needs much more than food and housing. Our educational programs help them become more financially independent. Additionally, we reach out to them emotionally and spiritually. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor of the Program, Clinical Supervision is provided on a consistent and regular basis.The Therapist provides office and/or community-based clinical services to Youth with a current mental health diagnosis or at-risk of a mental health diagnosis.
The ages of the children range from 0-21. The goal of our Clinical services is intended to help prevent the progression of mental health needs through early identification and intervention. We may also provide these services to children/youth in need of assessment for whom mental health conditions have not yet been diagnosed.
