FUNCTION: The purpose of this position is to set the tone for anyone entering The Salvation Army, Cincinnati West Side. This individual will be the first contact for every person interacting with our building, whether it be in person or on the phone. This person will work closely with the Corps Officers to schedule meetings and assist in the day-to-day operations of the corps.

FUNCTION: This position is responsible for Emergency Assistance Services at the _Cincinnati Westside Worship and Service Center locations, or other locations as needed. Services performed by this position include assessing the basic needs of low income individuals and families, providing assistance in the form of food, financial assistance, vouchers for in-kind items such as clothing and furniture, food delivery, and linking participants to services that will help stabilize their crisis. This position will conduct registration for camp, and all seasonal programs. This position will work in harmony with the Corps Officer to carry out The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.

The Emergency Services Recovery Coordinator provides human services through the Social Service Response Program (SSRP). Working in tandem with the Emergency Services Field Coordinator, they will respond to individuals in crisis on the street providing for immediate felt needs and sharing informed referrals for further assistance. The position will be supervised by the Emergency Services Deputy Director for Operations, and supports divisional disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts, as needed.
Representing The Salvation Army’s spiritual & musical ministry in all spheres of influence within the Greater New York Division, this position will assist the Divisional Music & Creative Arts Director in the development of the music and creative arts programs in the corps, and the overall Divisional music and creative arts ministry.

Under the direction of Corps Officers, the security and maintenance personnel help to ensure the building properly cleaned and sanitary for staff and visitors into the building. Maintain the Chapel clean and in order.

Scope & Purpose of Position: Provide oversight to the housing/homeless programs for Greater Hartford, New Britain, and Waterbury and supervise the Housing Program Coordinators in these locations. Housing programs managed to include, but are not limited to, Emergency Shelters, Youth Navigation, Youth Rapid Rehousing, Adult Rapid Rehousing, Diversion, and Homeless Prevention. Serve as the grants manager for all housing programs, which includes writing grant applications, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and financial policies, providing reports to funders, and facilitating program budget preparation. Must be available 24/7 to address shelter emergencies. Provide professional advisement and grant reviews related to social services in the Southern New England Division. Provide guidance and oversight to the Division’s short-term and long-term recovery needs resulting from disasters. Ensure all programs are aligned with The Salvation Army’s mission and policies.

Under the supervision of the educational director of the center, the group teacher shall be Responsible for: WORKING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SPONSORING AGENCY of the day care center and carrying out its functions, policies and procedures; observing the schedules in the center and adhering to its established personnel policies and practices.
