SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Donor Relations Director (DRD) will play an integral role in the success of the Division’s fund development efforts, specifically leading in all major gift strategies and communication. The DRD will bear the sole responsibility for managing major donor caseloads for Divisional fundraising. He or she will be in command of a high end portfolio of donors and prospects within a specified geographic area. In this role, the DRD will identify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and upgrade major gift prospects and donors, acting as the primary contact between The Army and all major donors.
The DRD will work with program and command staff in order to serve the complete needs of the Division’s fundraising needs.

Interview clients seeking assistance for various human service needs and making referrals to other area agencies for further services. Maintain daily records of clients including but not limited to forms/files/correspondence/statistical information. Support Corps in the implementation of social ministries programs and collaborate with other social service agencies in the community.
Casework
- Interview clients and assess needs and resources of clients.
- Provide emergency assistance, counseling, advocacy to clients according to the needs assessed.
- Make referrals to area agencies for further services.
- Schedule appointments for clientele as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential daily records of clients including but not limited to forms/files/correspondence/statistical information/ and other records as required.
- Recognize spiritual needs of persons which may require referral to the Corps Officers (who are ordained ministers of The Salvation Army).
Program Support
- Assist with the implementation and coordination of social ministries programs at Corps
- Maintain inventory for feeding program and emergency food pantry, including supporting Corps officers in grant and in-kind donation development.
- Network with and cultivate collaborative relationships with key personnel at other social service agencies and community-based organizations in the corps area.

FUNCTION: The Special Events & Community Relations Specialist develops an annual plan to organize, coordinate and promote special events which provide funding for critical programs undertaken by The Salvation Army in Springfield and Clark County including a robust annual Christmas distribution. The position works closely with the Corps officers to identify opportunities for marketing, community relations and recruiting local volunteers. The Special Events & Community Relations Specialist will work closelywith the Divisional Development Director when major gift level and gift planning donors are identified for further cultivation. May represent The Salvation Army at community events to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key community leaders. SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The HSCPA will work directly with the Hudson Service Center Director to maintain and/or expand existing programs offered to the community. The HSCPA will aide the HSCP in the overall operation of the Hudson Service Center to ensure efficient and effective operation of all aspects of The Salvation Army social services ministry.
Responsible for coordination and implementation of in-house programming, including assessments, goal planning, evaluation of daily progress, monthly resident reviews, monitoring recreational programs, seeking community resources, maintaining trip log for van use. Making independent judgments using discretion for the benefit of the individual. They will ensure the individuals receive the highest standard of services required and their day-to-day needs are met. They will ensure that all services are being followed as written in the individual’s plans. Assistant Program Manager must be able to travel, have good writing skills, articulate and be an aggressive advocate. Is able to function at a full capacity within the duties outlined in the job description and requirement. FUNCTION: The DSM reports to the DOGC. The DSM will work within all aspects of social service ministries in Greater Cincinnati. Responsibilities will include the supervision of emergency and seasonal assistance programs and Pathway of Hope; and development, expansion, and improvement of social services delivery consistent with Salvation Army policy and applicable regulations; budget planning and implementation; personnel management; recruitment and training of staff; program evaluation, and implementation of appropriate program policies. Position Overview: The New Day Drop-In and Outreach Services Manager will work at the Drop-In Center to ensure onsite duties are completed during hours of operation.
