Under the supervision of the group teacher, the teacher-aide shall be responsible for:
WORKING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SALVATION ARMY of the day care center and carrying out its functions, policies, and procedures. To assist in the planning and execution of a program to provide day care for children which takes into Account the educational, social, developmental and health needs of the group, as well as the individual child.
To share responsibility for keeping equipment and material accessible and in good condition in order to encourage maximum constructive use by the children.
To share responsibility for removing or reporting any damaged or hazardous equipment to the director or other designated person so that necessary action may be taken.
To participate in planning and supervising an appropriate arrangement of classroom equipment and furniture designed to promote optimal program functioning.
To participate in the overall planning for the best use of shared space in relation to the total center
program.
To assist in planning the use of community resources to enrich the educational content of the children’s program.
To participate in discussions aimed at developing a program of sound educational goals appropriate to the age and developmental level of children which will enable them to make the most of future educational opportunities.
The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs for youth between the ages of 5 and 18 within a designated Club. Program responsibility supports our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. The Program Director also provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff. This position oversees BGCN’s after-school program, full-day programs, and Summer Enrichment.

The Secretary Position is a part-time position working twenty-four hours a week during standard office hours and includes general secretarial duties. This position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes or the ability to be trained to a working proficiency in those systems.
The Recreation Specialist is responsible for the coordination of recreation activities for children after school and when school is not in session. The Recreation Specialist plans, organizes, and coordinates all youth and family programming.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Evangeline Booth Miracle Home is an 18-bed shelter that provides emergency housing to homeless women and families of women and children. The Resident Aide position assures a quality service to everyone who comes into the program. This position provides emotional support, information and referral to community services, and creates a warm and safe environment for the residents. The Resident Aide ensures that the residents’ basic needs are met, and that the daily operations of the program are instituted in a manner consistent with the philosophy and policies/procedures of the program and agency. The position provides awake staff coverage for all shifts of the residential program, monitoring residents and assisting in clerical/data and billing reporting responsibilities, household management tasks including facility cleaning, laundry and other duties as needed.
This position will provide intensive, home-based case management to approximately 72 families per year. Services include intake, assessment, data entry, housing search and advocacy, life skills training, case plan goal development, and referral and linkage to community resources. The Family Worker will provide support to childcare teachers and families, as well as support child development standards.
The helper shall perform his/her general duties under the supervision of the director, and when assigned to food service responsibilities, under the supervision of the cook. The helper performs functions related to housekeeping, food service and the maintenance and distribution of supplies. In additional, the helper is expected to accept training related to food preparation and cooking so that he/she may substitute for the cook when agreed or required (emergency).
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Production Assistant (Truck Driver) to complete driving routes for pickup and/or drop off of donations at the warehouse, assigned donation boxes, and at donor homes.

Care Manager 3 (high acuity) provides outreach and enrollment services to children presumed to meet eligibility requirements of New York State’s Children’s Health Home program in Oswego and Cayuga County. They gather assessments and enter documentation that confirms eligibility and identifies areas requiring supportive services. They work with children, families and service providers to create a comprehensive Plan of Health Care, identify additional service providers as necessary, and coordinate the continuing involvement of families and service providers in the execution of the plan. Care Manager 3 documents progress and arrange for eventual transition between health homes as necessary, or from health homes to other levels of service following changes in eligibility.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
TheCare Manager provides comprehensive care management services to children and adults presumed to meet eligibility requirements of New York State Health Home program. They will gather documentation that confirms eligibility for the program and work with clients to assess and identify areas requiring supportive services. (Children’s Health Homes) The care manager works with children, families and service providers to complete the Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment, which will guide them in creating a comprehensive Plan of Care. The care manager will collaborate with client’s service providers and with client/family to help achieve identified goals on Plan of Care. (Adult Health Homes) The care manager works with Adults in creating a comprehensive Plan of Care. The care manager collaborates with the client’s other providers to help achieve identified goals on Plan of Care. Care manager will assess the need for additional services, such as Home and Community Based Services for both children and adults enrolled in the Health Homes program. The Care Manager will be required to document all contact related to client’s case in an electronic health record and monitors the need for additional interventions based on client need.
