Position Overview:
We are seeking candidates who are interested in joining our On-Call Team assigned to the Emergency Family Shelter
Several On-Call positions are available for the position of Resident Assistant.
The Shelter's schedule is 24/7 and flexibility to fill in on weekends if needed is preferred.
However, there can be schedule availability throughout the week, 1st, 2nd & Overnight Shift schedules.
We do request that each member of our On-Call Team commits to a minimum of 2 shifts/month.
The Shelter's Work Schedule is set at least one month in advance and the On-Call Team is presented with the available shifts that need to be filled at that time.
SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing coverage in our Emergency Family Shelter, open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
In this role you are charged with insuring that our clients are safe, secure, comfortable, and supported in a manner consistent with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the program and agency.

The Case Manager position exists to assist in providing services for the Domestic Violence/Rape Crisis Program of The Salvation Army Anew Center in Chautauqua County. Based at The Salvation Army’s South or North County Office, the Case Manager will be responsible for the implementation of domestic violence, sexual assault, and rape crisis services throughout Chautauqua County. The Resident Aide position assures a quality service to everyone who comes into the program. This position provides emotional support, information and referral to community services, and creates a warm and safe environment for the residents. The Resident Aide ensures that the residents’ basic needs are met, and that the daily operations of the program are instituted in a manner consistent with the philosophy and policies/procedures of the program and agency. The position provides awake staff coverage for all shifts of the residential program, monitoring residents and assisting in clerical/data and billing reporting responsibilities, household management tasks including facility cleaning, laundry and other duties as needed.
The Grounds Associate works directly under the Facility Supervisor. As directed, is responsible for the care, treatment, repair and replacement of the grounds of the SLC. This position is a non-professional, hourly rate position.

The Shift hours and days will vary. The On-Call Resident Manager is enlisted to cover work shifts that become available due to current staff who are not available to work their assigned shifts.
We know ahead of time the shifts that need coverage, however, should a staff member become unable to work their assigned shift at the last minute, we will ask our On-Call staff to cover.
This position will provide structured therapeutic and supportive activities for residents, and is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility.

Overview of the role of the Youth and Family Rehabilitation Professional:
The role of a Rehabilitation Professional is one of multi-components that can include interventions such as case management as well as other functional supports. In this role you will provide services that are goal-directed and include solution-focused interventions. The goals and solutions are intended to address challenges associated with a behavioral health need and achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the child’s treatment plan. Any activities that you would provide are intended to stabilize the child/youth in the home and natural environment.
Position Details: Currently, there is one position available. It is Part-time, up to 20 hours per week, however, it will fluctuate because it is based on client need.
