About Us: The Salvation Army Eliza Shirley House provides long term case managed emergency housing services for homeless families. During their stay at the Eliza Shirley House, our goal is to help stabilize residents as many need much more than food and housing. Our educational programs help them become more financially independent. Additionally, we reach out to them emotionally and spiritually. Position Overview:
To assist the Warehouse/Donation Coordinator in all functions of Warehouse/Donation Responsibilities. Work as a Team Member of the Thrift Store.
The Custodian is a caretaker of the building and grounds, both interior and exterior. They are charged with ensuring its proper cleaning, maintenance and repairs. In addition, the job entails a Support Staff position to assist with Food collection and storage for the various programs.
The CACFP Administrator is responsible for oversight, compliance, and administration of the overall functioning of the CACFP Program, as well as setting and maintaining a high level of professional services. The CACFP Administrator will manage all operations related to the CACFP program across The Salvation Army’s Greater New York Division. The CACFP Administrator also serves as a collaborative liaison between the Food Vendor Representative, Corps Community Centers’ Corps Officers, Social Services Administration, Finance Department, and all participating program sites. The CACFP Administrator will create a supportive, high-quality practice through procedure development/monitoring and support of these departments and programs. Position Overview: Understand and enforce Hospitality Rules and Regulations, as well as, any manuals that pertain to one’s responsibilities. Understand and enforce the Employee Code of Ethics. Complete all assigned tasks on daily chore list. Answer all telephone calls, take accurate messages, and forward to appropriate individual.
