Position Details: As the Shelter Case Manager for our Women's Shelter you will have a career opportunity where you will be able to assist our clients who are homeless/in crisis by using short-term case management, support counseling, advocacy and by referring to community resources. Our Case Manager's provide individual and family case management to our clients. They assist cleints with life skills education, and mainstream resources to aid in securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing along with a stable living situation.
Benefit Overview: Health Benefit Program. This is made available to our employees after they complete their first ninety (90) days of employment. 13 paid holiday's, Personal Time, Vacation and Sick Paid Time Off (PTO). This position would also qualify as part of the Loan Forgiveness Program. Who we are: The Salvation Army’s Women’s Shelter provides temporary emergency housing for adult women without children, who have serious mental health problems and psychiatric disabilities. Crisis counseling, comprehensive social work support services, mental health services and linkages to community resources are provided to help the women obtain housing stability, income supports, mental health treatment and supportive services. The Women's Shelter has 15 beds and 16 subsidized one bedroom apartments.
The Shift Supervisor manages the flow of people in and out of the facility and ensures for the safety of all clients and staff as well as compliance with all facility rules and regulations. A Shift Supervisor assumes the operational management of the facility in the absence of another manager on site and responds to all emergencies.
TITLE: Anti-Human Trafficking Part-Time Crisis Response Worker
DEPARTMENT: Social Ministries, Anti-Human Trafficking
REPORTS TO: Anti-Human Trafficking Crisis and Intake Specialist
SUPERVISES: None.
STATUS: Non-Exempt. On-Call.
SCHEDULE: Part-time. Must be available to be on-call for human trafficking emergencies as scheduled.
FUNCTION: This position is responsible for responding to hotline and crisis response requests as a part of a 24 hour emergency on call schedule.
TITLE: Program Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Batavia Corps
REPORTS TO: Corps Officer
SUPERVISES: Some volunteers
STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Part time - 15 hours per week (seasonally increases to 29 hours per week)
Sunday: 10AM-12PM
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 5:30PM-7:30PM
Remaining 7 hours of office planning time flexible with approval from Corps Officer
FUNCTION:The program assistant assists in planning and coordinating youth and adult programs, young adults, VBS, outreach ministry, Sunday School and they will assist with seasonal events such as Kettles. They will be expected to share a vision for growing the corps and the Kingdom of God.
TITLE: Social Services Provider

SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9AM-3PM(18 hours per week-normal schedule) Hours may vary occasionally due to food deliveries, social service events (Up to 20 hours approved)
FUNCTION: Receive and process incoming calls, make appointment, intake and processing of financial assistance requests as well as food pantry requests, and assist with pick-up and intake of donations for the Food Pantry.

Description of Position:
The Major Gift Inter interacts with a vibrant Community Relations and Development team who is responsible for direct marketing, major gifts, foundation relations, gift planning, and marketing/communications. The Intern will work directly with the Director of Major Gifts.
To provide cleaning services and maintenance assistance for Salvation Army building.
Employee will work 25 hours a week. Regular daily schedule is from 8:00 am to 1:00 PM. Schedule could be adjusted temporarily due to weather or other events.

About New Day New Home: New Day New Home is a housing program for survivors of trafficking.
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Job Focus: . The Jobs 2 Housing program aims to assist homeless families into affordable, safe, and stable housing in accordance with the Housing First model. The program targets adults with high employment barriers and responds through a unique approach that includes rental subsidies combined with intensive home-based case management and linkage to job training.
Service knowledge for this position includes the following social service case management skills: referral/linkage to community resources, advocacy, negotiation, data entry, networking, documentation, budget planning, understanding of landlord-tenant law, understanding of career development strategies, crisis intervention, and case plan goal development and monitoring. The Team Leader also provides administrative support and leadership for the Jobs 2 Housing team, including training of program staff and interns, approval of direct client assistance requests and referrals, data accuracy review, and case consultation support to the case management team.
