SCHEDULE: Part Time / Multiple shifts to cover 6AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday and 8AM to 2PM on Saturdays.

- Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a Senior Center in accordance with the Nassau County and The Salvation Army.
- Take over the Director of Senior in case of vacation or illness

Reporting to the Divisional Director of Philanthropy, the Integrated Marketing Manager will collaborate on marketing strategy and lead project management for the region’s public relations, digital advertising, and email and direct mail campaigns in coordination with vendors and the internal team.
The Marketing Manager will provide oversight to the marketing team, including the Marketing Associate, and work in partnership with Digital Content Manager who will provide resources for external communications. The Marketing Manager will work to ensure the Development Department is supplied with donor-centric marketing materials that can be used in fundraising initiatives and will provide oversite to The Salvation Army’s growth through the web and social media. The Marketing Manager will work closely and side-by-side with their team to ensure any valuable social service and ministry programs are highlighted and shared with the community directly or through members of the Development Department.
This is a hybrid position with in-office days a minimum of three days per week. Regional travel is required

Position Overview:
For over 131 years, The Salvation Army’s red kettles, from around the world, have been linked to the Christmas season and to compassion for our neighbors in need. As this season is quickly approaching, we want to be sure we can get help to those who need it the most! It is primarily through donations received during the Christmas season that we are successful in helping those we are called to serve in our community, year-round. Our Kettle Workers will stand at locations throughout the area, ringing the bell while collecting these vital donations.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance staff and perform routine repairs in and around the facility while adhering to a standard that meets all outside monitoring requirements to ensure a safe and clean environment for our individual’s homes. Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to participate in the duties of the regular cleaning and sanitizing of the property. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the QA/Training Coordinator. Function at a full capacity within your job description and requirement.

Scope & Purpose of Position: Will support families who are experiencing homelessness. Will use a housing first approach and trauma-informed practices to build trust-based and collaborative relationships. Will respond immediately to help the guest overcome barriers to accessing services and advocate and connect them to crucial resources to help them resolve their immediate crisis with the goal of helping them access housing to end their homelessness. Will coordinate with the Greater Hartford Coordinated Access Network (GH-CAN) and attend community meetings and case conferencing.

Scope & Purpose of Position: Provide daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to families accessing no-freeze triage programs; maintain appropriate records in addition to ongoing written and verbal communication with the supervisor in relation to daily activities; and facilitate an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization. Coordinate placement of families utilizing triage services by arranging transportation and accommodations to hotels during severely cold weather when triage reaches capacity.

Scope & Purpose of Position: Provide daily oversight, monitoring, reporting, and support services to families accessing cold weather triage programs; maintain appropriate records on census and referrals; facilitate an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive morale and stabilization; coordinate placement and transportation of families in seasonal beds, permanent beds or hotels. The main functions of this position may be fluid over time but will focus on shelter diversion which will consist of completing CAN appointments and homeless outreach as needed.

The Bell Ringer will assist The Salvation Army with their Kettle Campaign, which helps fulfill the needs of those in need. The Bell Ringer must be friendly and have a positive attitude which is vital to the success of the Kettle Campaign.
Workers must dress for cold weather! This is predominately an outdoor job.

Within policy guidelines established by the Board of Directors, the terms of the Purchase of Service Agreement, and licensing requirements, the Director is responsible for overall administration and supervision of the total program of day care services to families and children. These responsibilities shall include coordination and supervision of all program components, such as intellectual growth of young children, preventative health and social services, nutrition, staff development, community outreach, parent involvement in program operation, fiscal management and accountability, office and facilities management. In order to effectively carry out these overall responsibilities, the Director shall consider, confer and consult with other supervisory staff members of the center in arriving at decisions affecting areas in which these persons may be specialists.
The Grounds/Maintenance Associate works directly under the FS. As directed, is responsible for the care, treatment, repair and replacement of the grounds/maintenance of the SLC. This position is a non-professional, hourly rate position.

As directed, the housekeepers will clean and prepare all areas of the Complex so that they can be used safely and comfortably by all guests visiting the complex.
