REPORTS TO: Corps Officers

SCHEDULE: 37-40 hours per week
FUNCTION: The function is to support the Corps Officers in all ministry and related aspects within the Corps. General roles for this position includes teaching, preaching, leading, programming, assisting with programs and activities within the Corps and community, and to participate from fundraising efforts. All these efforts with the intention to share Christian Biblical principles and values that will promote the mission of The Salvation Army.
The Social Worker is responsible for the overall delivery and coordination of services for homeless families residing in family tier II shelters and/or family hotels. The Social Worker is responsible for interfacing with the New York City Department of Homeless Services Staff, shelter providers, and relevant community-based organizations to enhance and ensure families are in receipt of optimal care and service coordination.
The Social Worker is responsible for the completion of psychosocial assessments of complex families impacted by multiple systems. The Social Worker will work with these systems and facilitate appropriate linkages for families to community-based services. The Social Worker must be able to work from a multi-disciplinary team approach to service provision. The position calls for an individual able to work within a crisis driven environment with a knowledge base of substance abuse and addiction, domestic violence, child maltreatment, trauma, and mental health conditions. The Social Worker will provide education to other members of the team around clients’ psychosocial stressors and needs, to ensure positive outcomes for families.
The Social Worker will obtain ongoing professional development by the individual agency program, and the New York City Department of Homeless Services – Division of Family Services. The Social Worker will be expected to provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to the Department of Homeless Services (DHS) and DHS Service Providers to inform both policy and practice.
Under the supervision of the Educational Director, the custodian employee is responsible for maintaining the center premises and its equipment in a clean, safe, healthy and comfortable condition inside and outside.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Donor Relations Director (DRD) will play an integral role in the success of the Division’s fund development efforts, specifically leading in all major gift strategies and communication. The DRD will bear the sole responsibility for managing major donor caseloads for Divisional fundraising. He or she will be in command of a high end portfolio of donors and prospects within a specified geographic area. In this role, the DRD will identify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and upgrade major gift prospects and donors, acting as the primary contact between The Army and all major donors.
The DRD will work with program and command staff in order to serve the complete needs of the Division’s fundraising needs.

FUNCTION: The Special Events & Community Relations Specialist develops an annual plan to organize, coordinate and promote special events which provide funding for critical programs undertaken by The Salvation Army in Springfield and Clark County including a robust annual Christmas distribution. The position works closely with the Corps officers to identify opportunities for marketing, community relations and recruiting local volunteers. The Special Events & Community Relations Specialist will work closelywith the Divisional Development Director when major gift level and gift planning donors are identified for further cultivation. May represent The Salvation Army at community events to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key community leaders. Adheres to The Salvation Army branding guidelines and code of ethics established for Community Relations Departments in The Eastern Territory.

FUNCTION: This employee will serve as part of the summer day camp team ensuring a high quality of camp programming for children ages 6-12 years of age. He/she will assist in carrying out the vision and objectives established by the Kroc Center Administrators and Education Department Manager. He/she will help plan and incorporate creative activities that support that vision. He/she will provide a supportive environment to promote Christian faith and value in keeping with the Mission of The Salvation Army and serve as a role model for children and youth, mentoring in appropriate ways.
The Youth Ministries Director will function as part of the Cleveland Temple Ministry Team. They will invest themselves in the lives of young people and their families developing and maintain relational ministry opportunities:
- To conduct an ongoing and aggressive evangelical ministry with the specific purpose of introducing children and their families to Jesus Christ.
- To provide an environment and ministry opportunities in which children, teens and young adults can grow and mature in their faith and grow into a walk of Holiness. Salary: $30,000/yr.

Position Overview: The New Day Drop-In and Outreach Services Manager will work at the Drop-In Center to ensure onsite duties are completed during hours of operation.
