Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, the Donor Relations Manager will lead the design and implementation of a strong Mid-Level donor relations program for the Greater New York Division. There is a working relationship with the THQ Associate Director of Major Gifts who provides oversight and support on portfolio management and goal setting This role will develop a comprehensive plan to manage a portfolio of approximately 450 Mid-Level donors through the Moves Management system with a goal of retaining and upgrading donors, creating a pipeline to major gifts or gift planning. The Donor Relations Manager will determine meaningful annual fundraising and marketing strategies, utilizing direct mail, personal written outreach, phone calls, virtual and in-person visits, and events to ensure that fundraising goals are met and/or exceeded. The position will collaborate closely with marketing, major gifts, and gift planning teams both at the divisional and territorial level to cultivate and nurture strong bonds and relationships with The Salvation Army. The care manager collaborates with the client’s other providers to help achieve identified goals on Plan of Care. Care manager will assess the need for additional services, such as Home and Community Based Services for both children and adults enrolled in the Health Homes program. The Care Manager will be required to document all contact related to client’s case in an electronic health record and monitors the need for additional interventions based on client need.
