Under the supervision of the Group Teacher and the Educational Director, the Teacher Aide shall be responsible for working within the framework of The Salvation Army and carrying out its functions, policies and procedures, observing the schedules in the center and adhering to its established personnel policies and practices.

The Custodian will oversee the general cleaning and maintenance of our building and its surrounding areas. You will regularly complete a wide variety of tasks to accomplish this. For example, you will be responsible for performing minor repairs to fixtures, furniture, and equipment. You will also perform cleaning tasks, such as sanitizing our bathrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and mopping our floors. As our custodian, you will perform other tasks that are similar to these in nature to ensure that the building and its grounds are clean and orderly. You will also work directly with the Corps Commanding Officers to provide support and handle any other duties as assigned.
