TITLE: On-Call Support Staff
LOCATION: Emergency Disaster Services, 701 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA
REPORTS TO: EDS Director
SCHEDULE: On-Call (less than 20 hours per week)
SALARY and GRADE: $12.00 per hour; 72 Non-exempt
Position Overview: To provide the EDS Department with individuals to assist with response operations and special duty events, as well as special projects when necessary.

* To respond to all emergencies as assigned.
* Serve on-call to assist EDS Director and primary staff with secondary support coverage.
* Help ensure visibility of all operations is maintained at all times.
* Assist with the deployment of equipment and personnel during major responses.
* To assist with ensuring that the canteen and response equipment readiness at all times.
* Work with supervisory EDS staff to facilitate logistical supports as needed.
* Represent EDS Department at with on scene partner agencies (Fire, OEM, etc.).
* When on duty wear appropriate EDS uniform and identification.
* Perform related duties as assigned.
