Schedule: Full time, Monday — Friday 8am — 4:00pm; some after hours and weekend when necessary.

Reporting Relationship: Housing and Project Coordinator 

Salary and Grade: $50k per year; 12 Exempt

The Business and Property Manager (BPM) has overall responsibility for all facets of the property and financial management of Reed House and Shelter + Care (S+C). The BPM ensures services are delivered to residents with the high level of customer service consistent with the mission of The Salvation Army. This includes personnel, property, budget, and program. Also, the BPM is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with external funders, as well as meeting various regulatory and reporting requirements. The BPM collaborates, as needed, in the development process of Reed House S+C.

• Must be able to keep information in a confidential and secure fashion.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED and at least two years building maintenance experience.
• Required use of personal vehicle for local-job related travel and pick-up. Strongly preferred. Must be a self-starter who can work in an environment with multiple changing work priorities.
• Good verbal and writing communication skills.
• Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
• Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
• Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
