SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

 

To oversee both Fulton and Oswego Soup Kitchen sites and cook lunch

 

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Oversee kitchens in both sites; cleanliness
  • Cook lunch for both sites
  • Coordinate transport of food to Fulton Site
  • Coordinate Volunteers and work with Administrative Assistant
  • Inventories of both sides
  • Coordinate pick up of donations
  • Any other duty related as necessary

Qualifications

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS.

• Must be computer literate
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have knowledge of large kitchen equipment
• Must have or be willing/able to get Save Serve Certification
• It is essential that the cook assistant have working knowledge of how to prepare large meals.
• Valid driver’s license that meets The Salvation Army insurance requirements.
