FUNCTION:

 

The Database Administrator is a key role in the Community Relations Department at the Divisional Headquarters. This role is primarily responsible for the oversight, integrity, and management of the donor database for the SWONEKY Division in conjunction with the Territorial Donor Database (Salesforce). This position will be the Divisional liaison for the Territory and the Salesforce Database which provides donor records for The Eastern Territory of The Salvation Army. Works with DHQ Finance Department and other bookkeepers within the Division to provide reports service and accountability to donors and contributors as well as Corps officers and the Finance department. Assists with In Kind Record keeping of donated gifts of time and product. Point person for requests from THQ regarding database issues and other users of Salesforce in the Division. This position also tends to the Greater Cincinnati gift processing needs and the processing needs of the Development Department.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, College Preferred
  • 2-5 years’ experience in development related field(s) preferred
  • Strong typing skills, attention to detail
  • Previous work with Salesforce or other donor database systems
  • Knowledge of working in large organizations a plus
  • Working knowledge of Windows programs
  • Well-developed communication skills, oral and written
  • Desire to learn and be a team player
