The Salvation Army is looking to hire individuals who are looking for a rewarding career by working in our Senior Center, Adult Day Program.  The position is called a Direct Support Professional and the main responsibility is to work with our seniors in the center during the day when they attend our On-Site program.  You will assist them with maintaining their independence, increasing socialization by participating in fun activities and assistance with some personal care. We are seeking direct support professionals who have a genuine interest in working with older adults in our community.  The positions are Full-time, day shifts, Monday-Friday and come with our Full Benefits Package.

Responsibilities

 

Requirements are:

High School Diploma or GED.

CPR, 1st Aid certified or willing to complete.

Valid Driver’s License, and Good driving record.

Comfortable assistance with meal service, personal care as needed.

Experience working with older adults or similar population desired but not required.
