Overview

Assists in enhancing marketing support for the Adult Rehabilitation Centers in the Eastern Territory. Supports requisite activities to establish and maintain high service standards for the territory’s constituents. Provides assistance to all marketing and related aspects at the direction of the Marketing & Development Director.

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and responds to incoming communications, including e-mail, social media, websites, etc. from donors, customers and other constituents, using provide “boilerplate” responses and minor customizations, as necessary.
  • Escalates concerns expressed by constituents that do not easily fit within prescribed categories or that require further investigation or follow-up outside the Marketing & Development department.
  • Serves as a resource for marketing-related events, meetings and conferences under the direction of the Marketing & Development Director.
  • Assists with WYSIWYG editing of ARC websites and provides assistance in monitoring and maintaining social media presence.
  • Cooperate with other team members in the ARC Command to assist with various projects outside the Marketing Department as directed.

 

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, social media and websites.
  • Non-profit experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A desire to work in an organization dedicated to service, working closely with Christian ministry leadership. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
  • Highest level of confidentiality, discretion and judgment.
  • Working and current working knowledge of marketing and the desire to stay current with the marketing trends
