SCHEDULE:             Full Time - This is typically a Monday thru Friday schedule but will require some evening, Saturday, and Sunday hours.  Work schedule during those weeks will be modified to reflect the required evening or weekend hours.


FUNCTION: The Help Desk Technician will serve as part of the Kroc Center Admin Department.  They will function in a team environment and be a role model to both youth and adults.  They will interact with all departments on campus and Divisional and Territorial IT Departments; making sure that all IT/desk top technology and some audio/video, lighting needs are being meet to the highest standards and in a professional manner.  They will make sure all associated IT equipment is running at peak performance.  In conjunction, they will support productions and programming.  Through their actions, words, and work ethic they will promote the Christian faith and values in keeping with the Mission of The Salvation Army.


  1. A degree in information technology or similar degree. In place of a degree the person can have at least 2 years’ experience working in IT field and appropriate IT certificates.
  2. Preferred 1 year of experience with desk top support.
  3. Knowledgeable in applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
  4.   Strong creative and communication skills
  5.   Organizational skills
  6.   Able to work in a team environment
  7.   Technical abilities and experience.
  8.   Able to interact with a variety of people, groups, and personalities
