STATUS: Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE: Part Time – Tuesday - Friday - 8:30am - 3:00pm

FUNCTION: Provide administrative support to the Commanding officer(s) Resolve client's needs relative to food, utilities, rent, and lodging.


  • Must be high school graduate or GED.
  • A background check is required through the Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation (BCD).
  • Must have compassion for those being assisted and enjoy interacting with people daily.
  • Required to maintain confidential information.
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to direct others and manage a small team
  • Must be honest and hard-working. Self-motivated and self-directed. Able to prioritize work and have a quick response.
  • Flexibility and friendliness is an absolute necessity.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Lotus Notes, Outlook, Word and Excel is required. Must be proficient and accurate with data entry skill, plus grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Must be highly organized, accurate and detail oriented. Must maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fluid work environment
  • Represent the ideals and integrity of The Salvation Army in the highest possible ethical and moral business conduct
