Salary and Grade: $10.00 per hour; 71 Non-Exempt

Position Overview: The Driver/Janitor will be responsible for picking up donations within the community and assisting the Officer with transportation of participants during programs and summer camps. They will also ensure the building and common areas are clean and free of trash.
*Responsible for picking up food donations.
*Coordinating additional call-in donations.
*Coordinating with donors regarding office closures (due to weather, federal holidays, etc.)
* Picking-up and dropping of participants for Corps programs
* Transporting kids to and from Camp Ladore for Corps Summer Camp
*Assisting in the cleaning of Corps facilities (chapel, bathrooms, dining room, common areas, etc.)
*Ensuring Corps van is fully fueled and cleaned for use on program/ Sundays
*Helping with order pick-ups during the regular work week
*Helping with the drop-off and pick-up of kettle workers, during Christmas Time
* Helping with the picking-up of toys and food during Christmas Time.
*Coordinating vehicle inspections and repairs
*Maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles.
*Other duties as assigned
*Maintaining and cleaning building, grounds, and parking area keeping them in a safe manner.
*Empty the trash and take recycling.
*Order supplies and maintain storage areas and equipment.
*Secure unused areas of the facility, turn off lights, and lock doors on weekdays.
*Remove ice and snow from lot and walkways during inclement weather.
*Coordinating with venders for property upkeep and maintenance.
*Help maintain the bread cart.
*Maintain the law.
*Other duties as assigned
*High School Diploma, or equivalent.
*Valid PA Driver’s License with good driving record.
*At least 21 years of age with at least 2 years of driving experience. Able to drive 12 passenger van
*As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check.
