REPORTS TO: Work cooperatively to the Corps Officer and Emergency Assistance Manager/Social Ministries Director
STATUS: Non – Exempt, Full-time
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
FUNCTION: This position is responsible for Emergency Assistance Services at each The Westside Corp and/or other Service Center location as needed. Services performed in this position include: assessing the basic needs of low-income individuals and families, providing assistance in the form of food, financial assistance, vouchers for in-kind items such as clothing and furniture, and linking participants to services that will help stabilize their crisis. This position will conduct registration for camp and seasonal programs. This position will work in harmony with the Corps Officer and/ or Department Director to carry-out The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.
