Availability of Position: Immediately – Temporary for approximately 3 months
Schedule: Part Time, 20 per week
Reporting Relationship: Housing and Project Coordinator
Salary and Grade: $11.00 per hours 74 Non-exempt
The Maintenance Porter will be responsible for the overall cleanliness the Philadelphia Booth Manor, Inc. building and surrounding property. This will include a daily routine cleaning and sanitation schedule of all common areas, hallways, bathrooms, offices, trash removal, preventative maintenance and upkeep.
Must be able to keep information in a confidential and secure fashion. Must have High School Diploma or GED. Must be a self-starter who can work in an environment with multiple changing work priorities. Good verbal and writing communication skills. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army. Willingness to perform all required tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habit. Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
