    Position: Kroc Youth Ministries Coordinator

    Location: Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 4200 Wissahickon Ave., Philadelphia PA

    Availability: Immediate

    Schedule: 1 full-time position. Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as will be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.

    Reporting Relationship: Congregational Life Officers                       

    Salary and Grade:  Starting at $14.85 - $16.00 commensurate with education and experience; 75 Non-Exempt

    The Kroc Youth Ministries Coordinator (KYMC) is charged with the responsibility of growing youth ministries in meaningful ways. The KYMC will attend Sunday worship services, stay current with youth ministry practices by reading, attending youth leadership conferences.

    Responsibilities

    The Youth Ministries Coordinator (KYMC) will be responsible for the development and oversight of all youth ministries with the goal of youth becoming devoted followers of Jesus Christ.  

    Qualifications

    Must demonstrate mature Christian character with a passion for mission and youth. Uniformed Salvationist preferred. Must have prior youth ministry leadership experience (professional or volunteer).Must be able to function effectively without supervision. The successful candidate will possess well developed relational/interpersonal skills. Must be able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing work environment, and balance multiple tasksMust possess the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Possess basic administrative skills which includes familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.  Must be a team player. Must be able to work with varied ethnic and socio-economic populations. Must have a valid Pennsylvania State Driver’s License and the ability to operate required fleet vehicle(s). This is primarily an evening/weekend position and candidate must be able to work these hours.
