Overview

Due to the extensive training, professional development opportunities available with the fellowship program, and the high community interest, we ask that applicants be able to commit to volunteer at least 15-25 hours per week for approximately 3 months. The approximate timeline of the sessions are as follows:

 

  • Fall Session: mid-August to mid-December
  • Spring Session: mid-January to mid-May
  • Summer Session: mid-May to mid-August

Responsibilities

One of the coalition’s main goals is to increase the understanding of human trafficking in the greater Cincinnati area. Responsibilities include assisting in the coordination and development of End Slavery Cincinnati trainings and public education events, the development of training resources, and participating in public speaking events.  Additional preferred qualifications, include comfort in public speaking.

 

Qualifications

  1. Commitment to service and supporting the community and an understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army's mission.
  2. Experience working with individuals of different backgrounds and life experiences.
  3. Experience with and comfort using Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Successfully obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army insurance standards.
