    REPORTS TO:         Anti-Human Trafficking Manager

    SUPERVISES:          N/A

    STATUS:                   Non-Exempt              

    SCHEDULE:            Full-time. Must be available evening and weekend hours for training and outreach efforts. 


    This position will provide support to the End Slavery Cincinnati Coalition and The Salvation Army conducting trainings and facilitating groups to increase awareness of human trafficking, including its intersections with addition


    • Facilitate group and individual counseling to trafficked persons using evidence based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Trauma Resiliency Empowerment Model, etc.
    • Conduct urgent needs assessments and connect group participants to appropriate treatment and services.
      • Utilize Salvation Army and End Slavery Cincinnati (ESC) resources to ensure that the victim’s immediate needs are met, including safe temporary housing, clothing, food, medical care and mental health care.
      • Develop a safety plan and a service plan in coordination with the victim.
    • Assist in the organization and implementation of the ESC Public Education Program.
      • Identify potential audiences, including by not limited to social services, medical, education, and law enforcement audiences.
      • Schedule and conduct trainings
      • Collect and analyze training effectiveness data and share results with supervisors
      • Provide training for social services personnel, law enforcement and other key audiences in designated counties.
    • Conduct direct outreach to victims of sex and labor trafficking through a variety of means, including but not limited to:
      • Street outreach
      • Internet outreach
      • Distributing outreach materials in high risk communities
      • Conduct outreach to other relevant populations
    • Maintain accurate and timely case notes and statistical records.
    • Ensure that all required reports are completed on time.
    • Attend individual supervisorial and team meetings.
    • Ensure that services are delivered to participant using a client-centered, strengths –based approach.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all Anti-Human Trafficking participants.
    • Attend all in-service Professional Development training sessions.
    • Follow rules, regulations, and policies of the Department of Social Services and The Salvation Army.
    • Collect and manage data and provide it to supervisor.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
    • At least one year of experience with anti-human trafficking activities, coalitions or victim-serving organizations
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Experience working effectively in cross-cultural settings
    • Successfully obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army insurance standards, including maintaining access to a personal vehicle and insurance coverage for transportation needs related to this position. Mileage reimbursement will be utilized where appropriate.
