    Classification: Full-Time, Exempt, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

     

    Job Focus:  The position provides administrative leadership to all Columbus Area after school learning centers and summer day camps, including supervision of Site Coordinators, writing of grant applications and reports, fiscal oversight, and maintenance of positive relationships with Columbus city Schools and other community partners

    Qualifications

    • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s Mission
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field required.
    • State of Ohio Teacher Certification preferred
    • Experience in working in an after-school program or summer day camp setting
    • Experience in grant development, writing and compliance strongly preferred
    • Excellent verbal, written communications skills, organizational skills
    • Current first aid, CPR, communicable disease and child abuse training
    • Ability to meet and maintain ODJFS standards for employees and program operation
    • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
    • A valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards
