    Classification: On-call,  Non-Exempt position.


    Job Focus:  This position works with the Education Coordinator to recruit program participants, ensure quality educational programming and provide administrative oversight and management for grants which includes data collection and providing reports for funding sources.  This position will also be responsible to provide coverage as needed in the Learning Centers.


    • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s Mission
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development or comparable
    • Teaching license in the state of Ohio, preferred
    • Experience in working in an after-school program setting preferred
    • Experience in grant development, writing and compliance preferred
    • Strong work ethic, patient and energetic
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A positive, contagious “can-do” attitude
    • Patient and energetic
    • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
    • At least 21 years old with a valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards
