  • Overview

    Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 37.5 hours/week, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  This position’s office is located in Delaware, Ohio.


    Job Focus:  This position will provide intensive home based case management to approximately 10 homeless youth ages 18-24 per program year.  Services include intake, assessment, data entry, housing search and advocacy, life skills training, case plan goal development, referral and linkage to community resources and transporting clients.


    • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s Mission
    • Associate’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Sociology or Human Behavior preferred
    • Experience working with persons facing housing crisis and/or homelessness
    • Experience working with unaccompanied youth a plus
    • Strong work ethic
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • A positive, contagious “can-do” attitude
    • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
    • At least 21 years old with a valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
