    Position: Senior Citizens Program Coordinator

    Location:  KROC Center, Philadelphia, PA                

    Availability of Position: Immediately                        

    Schedule:  Part-Time (20-29 hours per week) Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as may be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing 

    Reporting Relationship: Congregational Life Officers

    Salary or Salary Grade: $14.55per hour; 75 Non-Exempt

    Responsibilities

    The Senior Citizens Program Coordinator will plan and give oversight to the programs and projects of the Golden Gems (Senior) Program. SCPC will develop and maintain effective relationships with various public and private institutions and agencies to assess program requirements, modifications, or innovations.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience in geriatrics, gerontology, or closely related field is preferred. Communicate clearly, must possess a valid driver’s license. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every three years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must possess an appreciation for and understanding of The Mission of The Salvation Army.
