    Status: Seasonal, Full-time, Non-Exempt (November 24, 2018 to December 21, 2018)

    Hours Per Week: 40

     

    Scope & Purpose of Position:

    Coordinate Adopt-a-Family program and provide support and assistance to the Office Manager with holiday programs such as Angel Tree Toy Distribution and Holiday Meals.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate Adopt-a-Family program which includes obtaining family information from staff, interacting with donors, coordinating drop off/pick up of donations, tracking program data, and sending correspondence to donors.
    • Assist in coordination of holiday programs such as Angel Tree Toy Distribution and Holiday Meals which includes registering families, processing donations, tracking data, and other clerical duties.
    • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately, taking detailed messages when needed.
    • Register volunteers and provide direction regarding duties.
    • Maintain files and appropriate documentation.
    • Assist Office Manager with various administrative tasks, such as correspondence, mailings, and schedules.
    • Serve as back up to reception desk as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Experience working in an office setting, non-profit experience preferred
    • Professional and courteous demeanor
    • Works well under pressure and within deadlines
    • Must have computer skills and be comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Excel
    • Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
    • Must have reliable transportation
