    Location: Norwich Corps (Norwich, CT)

    Status: Non-exempt, Temporary (November 23 – December 25, 2018)

    Hours Per Week: 21 hours

    Schedule: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday; 8:30-11:30 am, 1:30-3:30 pm, & 5:30-7:30 pm

    Rate of Pay: $11.00/hour


    Scope & Purpose of Position:

    Will provide driving support for all of the holiday programs which includes Angel Tree, Holiday Store, Adopt-a-Family, and the Kettle Campaign.

    • Drive as requested during holiday season.
    • Collect holiday items such as food, clothing, and toys as requested.
    • Load and unload holiday items such as food, clothing, and toys.
    • Assist with pick-ups and drop-offs of seasonal kettle employees.
    • Run general kettle season errands.
    • Distribute and collect kettle stands and signs to locations as requested.

    The above duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive and may be modified to include other job related duties at the discretion of the supervisor.


    • Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
    • Shall maintain a valid driver’s license, free of restriction by either the granting state or Chesterfield Insurance.
    • Friendly and have a positive attitude.
    • Will respect and promote the interest of The Salvation Army. The individual is not required to embrace the tenets of faith, but he/she is required to promote and respect the mission of The Salvation Army.
