Department: Developmental Disabilities Program, Philadelphia County
Availability of Position: Immediately
Schedule: Full-time, Part-time hours available, and On-call positions (variable schedule, as needed, less than 19 hours per week)
Reporting Relationship: Program Coordinators
Salary: $12.00 per hour; On-Call rate $13 per hour; 72 Non-Exempt

This position is a non-exempt position with responsibility for support to persons withdevelopmental disabilities residing in residential programs in Philadelphia County.
Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma/GED with a valid driver’s license. Experience shouldinclude supports to people with a range of Intellectual Disabilities. Familiarity with policies, procedures and regulations toward the abilities of individuals with disabilities preferred. Position requires a positive attitude toward the abilities of the individuals with disabilities, good communication skills and the desire to engage people in activities that meet their interests and broaden their horizons. Ability to work with management, staff, families and funding sources in a respectful and courteous manner. Ability to effectively communicate with staff and persons we provide services for. Ability to initiate problem solving. It is essential to support The Salvation Army by having an appreciation and understanding of The Salvation Army mission.
